Get Reel is staffed by experienced fishermen that know how to get you ready for the big
one. We provide a wide range of services that include;
-Reel maintenance- We can provide a simple lube or a complete overhaul
-Line winding- we stock many top names of fishing line and are experts at the latest
trends in using the new Spectra Braids.
-Custom rod and rod repair- We have one of the top custom rod builders in Southern
California. His simple attractive work will stand the test for years. He specializes in
re-wrapping older blanks from True Line, Harnell and more. He can also repair
damaged rods to original condition. Sorry, even he can not fix a broken blank.

Get Reel offers an number of escorted trips every year. These trips will be hosted by one of
Get Reel's staff making sure that your trip is trouble free and just plain fun. We can also
arrange for a custom trip to meet your exacting requirements. We specialize in trips the
East Cape area of Baja Mexico, Zihautanejo/Ixtapa and the Cabo San Lucas area.
Whether you want a basic package for the boys or a more luxurious trip for the family, we
provide the complete land package at local hotels, boat reservations and more. For larger

Local Trips and Seminars
Get Reel also hosts a number of local trips each year. They range from 1/2 day to 2 days
on the personally selected top rated boats. All trips are limited load and scheduled at peak
fishing times. We also have a number of seminars each year on fishing. These seminars
range from a knot tying night to a long range night. These seminars feature top local
fisherman and sometimes include feature speakers from the fishing industry. See the
